Have an amazing experience flying in a high performance aerobatic plane. The Pitts S-2A is a two seat tandom aeroplane which is guaranteed to give you a flight that you will never forget. Fly serenely in a beautiful biplane over the stunning Cotswold countryside, with views over the Severn Estuary and Wales or try extreme aerobatics for the adrenaline junkies. If you want, you can experience manoeuvres yourself under your pilot's supervision, perhaps developing a flying sequence of figures as in an air show routine.

COST

Each Experience Flight takes approx. 2 hours, this includes a pre-flight familiarisation with the aircraft, taxi, flight and debrief.  Prices start from £199, video footage taken from the flight can be recorded and provided on a USB stick for £20. Environmentally friendly trailing white smoke is also available for an additional charge of £30. Extended flights are available on demand, enquire for further details.

Maximum height 6'4", max. weight 17 stone/110 kgs, physically fit and in good health. Anyone under the age of 18 yrs must be accompanied to the airport by their parent or guardian. If the weather is not good enough on the day we will notify you of the need to find an alternative date and will do our best to accommodate your availability.

LOCATION

The main entrance to the airport is half way between Tetbury and Cirencester on the A433 not the A429. Useful postcode for the satnav is GL7 6BA. Kemble Airfield and Cotswold Airport share the same site but unfortunately have
different entrances, please use Cotswold Airport entrance.

An insurance policy can be provided on request that shows EC Regulation 785/2004, the requirements for the aircraft operator that the aircraft carries minimum levels of insurance in respect of third parties, passengers, baggage and cargo. The Pitts S-2A Experience Flight is conducted under EASA/CAA regulations. 

Pitts S2A flights are conducted through Cotswold Flying  School Ltd which is a DTO (Declared Training Organisation).
